EMERGENCY OVERVIEW
Remove any contamination from the
skin, eyes, or clothing.
POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS
The health hazards of Magnesium
Chloride Injection are predominantly associated either with the active
pharmaceuticals ingredient (Magnesium Chloride) or the preservative (Benzyl
alcohol). Refer to the MSDS for each of these ingredients for further
information.

hazard via inhalation.
Ingestion:
Not expected to produce any acute
adverse health effects. Large doses may cause gastrointestinal upset.

The Benzyl Alcohol component of
the composition is incompatible with strong oxidizing agents, non-metallic
halides, polymerization initiators and slowly oxidizes in air.
Hazardous Decomposition Products:
When heated to decomposition,
Magnesium Chloride may emit hydrogen chloride and/or chlorine.
When heated to decomposition,
Benzyl Alcohol may emit carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, acrid smoke and
fumes.
