As many of you would agree, 2020 has been anything but easy. Described as a once in a lifetime pandemic, Covid-19 has affected virtually every imaginable part of our lives. One of our proudest achievements through it all is being able to meet your medical needs when it matters the most. We are acutely aware of how many business establishments have simply ceased to exist under the weight of Covid-19. It is due to the collective strength and commitment of our staff which have allowed us to uphold our core mission of customer satisfaction.

Like many other businesses, however, our staff faces the same tribulations during these times. Our employees have had to juggle between work and caring for loved ones affected by Covid-19. Fathers and mothers have had to choose between being at work or overseeing children who are attending virtual school learning and are still too young to be left alone. In addition, McGuff Family of Companies has had to enforce personnel screening of all employees for Covid-19 symptoms and, as needed, have required some employees to stay at home for an appropriate period of time. In short, 2020 has been a year in which we and many other companies have not had full staffing on any given day, and where many hours of overtime were authorized in an effort to maintain the level of quality service we expect for our customers.

Currently, we are experiencing an even greater than usual staffing shortage due to forces and events beyond our control. As we have done all year long, we are committed to overcoming the present challenges and return to providing you with quality service. During this period, please expect a longer than normal processing time with your orders. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding!

    International Sales

    McGuff Company welcomes all international inquiries for drugs, medical devices and general merchandise. It is our desire to provide you with the best possible service and products available. We currently serve our international friends in over thirty countries and it is with great pleasure that we ask you to join our international family of customers.

    We make placing orders for pharmaceuticals and medical devices for international delivery easy.

    We have just a few steps that are required before we are able to deliver products to you:

    1. Please fill out our International Customer Request Form below:

    2. You will be contacted and provided with an International Customer Questionnaire
    3. Complete and return our International Customer Questionnaire and provide us with a copy of your current license allowing you to purchase/store/distribute/use dangerous drugs and devices.
    4. We will review your information and provide our Agreement for International Shipment of Drugs & Devices. Please read, sign and return this Agreement to us. Purchase of General Merchandise Products may not require this agreement.

    Upon receiving your inquiry and knowing the country you are contacting us from, we will determine the customs requirements for shipping pharmaceutical & medical device products to your country. If an import permit is required by your country to receive the products we will provide you with the details needed for the permit. In addition, we will provide you a Proforma Invoice detailing the products you wish to order, the quantity, price and Schedule B Code that will properly identify the international classification of the products. We can also provide you with an estimate of freight costs upon request.

    McGuff Company policy requires payment for international orders prior to shipment. There are two payment options:

    1. Credit Card – We accept Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express® and Discover Card®;
    2. International Wire Transfer – Payment may be made directly from your bank to our bank.

    Our banking information will be provided should you choose international wire transfer of payment. Wire transfers result in a 3-4 day delay in shipment due to bank processing time & verification.

    Our standard method of shipment is United Parcel Service (UPS). UPS offers quick, efficient, door-to-door service including customs brokerage.

    Coronavirus (COVID-19)

    Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak worldwide, the global demand for some Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is exceeding current supply availability.

    In addition, the manufacturing of the PPE and many other wound care/infection prevention products have been impacted by the global response to the Coronavirus. While you may see product availability reduction in the near-term, please be assured that we at McGuff Medical are continuing to work diligently to ensure an uninterrupted supply of products and alternative products to you.

    Additionally, in order to ensure healthcare providers have access to the PPEs they need, the McGuff Company is temporarily limiting PPEs to healthcare providers.
