Orange County Register's Top 100 Workplaces 2014
The Orange County Register's Top 100 Workplaces is an annual review of employee nominated Orange County based companies. The Top 100 Workplaces is made up of fifteen large companies (defined as 500 or more employees in Orange County), thirty-five midsize (100 to 499) and 50 small workplaces (35 to 100 employees) for the 2014 Top Workplaces list. There are over 88,382 businesses in Orange County.
In its seventh year, the review includes private, public, non-profit and government organizations in the county. The workplace rankings are calculated based on the responses from their employees. The employees are asked to respond anonymously to 26 statements about their workplace experience and the leadership at their companies. A numerical value was attached to each statement, and the Top Workplaces received an overall score and ranking based on the employees’ response to these statements. Employees ranked their companies and bosses in areas for ongoing training, work-life balance, culture and atmosphere, pay and benefits, inspiration and genuine caring from managers, social responsibility, and meaningfulness behind their work.
On December 4, 2014 the workplaces who ranked in the top 100 were announced at the annual event. The McGuff Company and it's affiliates, McGuff Compounding Pharmacy and McGuff Pharmaceuticals placed in the top 50 small workplaces category. We at McGuff are extremely proud of our nomination by one employee and the responses of our coworkers to make us a top 100 workplace company. Receiving this honor strengthens our bond with customers and coworkers. We are excited for what the future will hold.
