URICULT® urine culture systems help to enhance patient care by providing fast UTI results in the convenience of a physician's office. Urine cultures can be started immediately upon specimen collection by dipping the URICULT® paddle into the urine specimen and placing it in an incubator set at 34° to 38°C. Positive results can be read within 18 to 24 hours. If desired, the physician can send a positive URICULT® paddle to a reference laboratory for bacteria identification and sensitivity studies.
